Bernardo Mas

Managing Partner & Founder

Bernardo is a seasoned executive with 20 years of experience in retail, consumer goods, industrials and the cannabis industry with a proven record of helping companies grow their top and bottom line. He brings deep expertise in business and growth strategy, turnaround execution and operations.


Until recently, Bernardo was a Senior Director at consultancy AlixPartners where he advised retailers, brand executives and private equity clients on operation improvement, turnaround and strategy. He was responsible for overseen indirect spend reduction and merchandise optimization initiatives, as well as organization and process re-design, both in stores and online.


Prior to AlixPartners, Bernardo was VP of Corporate Strategy & International for Ann Taylor where he led the brand’s international operations and was responsible for identification and execution of growth initiatives.


Before joining Ann Taylor, he spent several years working as a consultant for firms such as Arthur D. Little and Deloitte Consulting where he advised clients in the consumer goods and industrial space on issues of business strategy helping to identify over $300MM of incremental growth.


Bernardo also spent over 3 years as part of the Strategy & Corporate Development team of Saks Fifth Avenue where he was responsible for supporting the strategic planning process and growth strategy.


He holds a bachelor degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Caracas, and an MBA from Emory University with concentration in Finance. He is bilingual English-Spanish and conversational in Italian.

Ernesto Echeverri


Ernesto is a highly strategic and analytical leader with extensive global experience managing high growth and fast paced environments for large global players and entrepreneurial ventures.


As General Manager of NEST Global, his areas of expertise include supply chain strategy, strategic sourcing, distribution, procurement and business development for CPG companies in the Americas and Europe.


In the Consumer Products industry, particularly Food and Beverage, Ernesto has more than 20 years of industry and consulting experience working on the Dairy, Soft Drinks, Fresh and Frozen Fruits, and Spirits categories, in both sides of the table; the supply chain side, and the business development side.


Ernesto also spent over six years as a Strategy management consultant in the Americas and Europe, leading and implementing projects related to Go-To-Market strategy, supply chain and organizational structure, strategic sourcing, as well as commercial and operational strategy. Most clients were in the Consumer product industry, including global Food and Beverage organizations.


He holds a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia; and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is bilingual English-Spanish.

Allison Slater


Allison is an accomplished retail professional with over 20 years of merchandising experience across vertical, wholesale and franchise models.  She has a successful track record of expanding brand footprints internationally, identifying white space and generating new revenue streams.  Allison is an expert merchant, highly analytical and consumer-centric, with proven success creating customized and localized product assortments and client experiences across geographies. 


Her most recent project resulted in creating two new revenue streams for Talbots, $3M and $100M respectively.  She developed a wholesale business model within a vertical company and established the business strategy and operational foundation for an international website.


Prior to that, Allison led the International Merchandising team at ANN INC, where she was accountable for driving $50M in revenue growth in the Canadian and Mexican markets across bricks & mortar, shop-in-shops and e-commerce.  During her tenure at ANN INC, Allison held various executive merchandising roles, driving topline and bottom-line growth, building infrastructures, creating sustainable and scalable operations, driving brand initiatives and developing associate talent.


Allison also held executive roles at Club Monaco and PVH, where she was brought in to lead the restructuring of teams, operations and merchandising strategies to turn business around produce profitable results.


Allison holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she majored in Journalism and Sociology.
